felted food & green pizza

kaia and i had a fun day needle felting with friends.  my friend zane was kind enough to take us in for the day, teach me how to needle felt, and let me use her tools.  We had a nice visit with her, her family, and victoria and fyn.  We got a nice start for Valdemar's kitchen... 3 dipping eggs and a carrot. 

after needle felting, we did some fabric shopping with victoria and fyn and got lots of goodies.  then back home to hang out with the guys.  valdemar helped make my favorite green pizza with spinach, cheese, homemade crust,

and homemade pesto sauce.

we missed yoga today.  we woke up and valdemar has still got his cough... it seemed to be pretty much gone the last few days, but something triggered it again this morning.  i woke up exhausted and sick of the pit sty our house had turned into, so we stayed in today to heal and clean.  i am happy to say that valdemar and i were both feeling great by the end of the day!
