recap of the last week...

been too busy to write.  here's the recap...

i went to write this yesterday, but when i tried to get the photos off the little camera, the cord wouldn't go all the way in.  i gave up.  then tonight i decided to see what i could do, i don't see anything in the cord (it worked on my big camera) or in the camera, but the cord still won't go in all the way.  now how the hell am i going to get the pictures off of the camera??  here's what i got with the big camera...

thursday - we got our xmas tree!  we needed a charlie brown tree and it was in the middle of a snow storm, so we just went out to the woods behind our house and rescued a little guy that was caught under a fallen tree.  we decorated the tree with strings of popcorn, paper ornaments, rosehips, pine cones, and a star made out of tin foil.  I sewed up a tree skirt from an old soccer t-shirt that i never wear and we found the tree stand littered out in the woods.  we love our little charlie brown tree!

friday - we visited with victoria and fyn all day!  val came to watch the boys while victoria and i got some sewing done.  then we ended up enjoying a nice dinner before heading home.  a fun day was had by all!  i have a really cute picture of fyn and kaia... but it is on the other camera.  i'll update once i get those stinkin photos off the camera!

saturday - we attempted to wet felt today.  it did not go so well, but valdemar had fun!  all he wanted to do was squeeze the water on the floor.

so, i decided to scrap that plan (sorry about those who would have gotten a wet felted xmas gift!) and take some pics of kaia.

sunday & monday - i finished up some sewing & knitting projects.  i sewed up our xmas stockings from recycled sweaters.  they turned out pretty cute.  i also made a cute hat & pant set for jenn's new baby winter rose.  i always have a hard time figuring the back of vlademar and kaia's wool pants, so i put a little embelishment on the back to make it easy for her and kyle.

and i knitted kaia a ball a while ago.  actually, i knitted a square that i was going to turn into a ball.  i showed my knitting friends and they said it was not the right size to make a ball.  i decided to stuff it anyway.  i put a jingle inside and a handle on top.  it turned into a beautiful white pear.  :)

today we had our last yoga day.  it was a blast as always.  we hope to see everyone next session!  i have a couple cute pics i hope to be able to share soon.
