my favorite stone.  i bought a beautiful amber pendant for my wedding.  after the wedding i stuck the necklace i had made with it in a drawer and did not wear it again.  i think it was two years ago when i pulled it back out and knew that i would never wear such an extravagant piece again.  i decided to cut the pendant out of the necklace and make a new one.  well, that one broke just after the first of the year, so i had to make a new one...
