we woke up to a blanket of snow on the ground. it was beautiful! we decided to go for a hike. i got kaia a new kate quinn snow suit (off ebay a few months ago) because i thought there was no way she would fit into the one valdemar wore... i was wrong. today is the first time i put it on her and it is too small. but she looks so cute...

after, we had to have some warm homemade applesauce. hmmm...
and then valdemar read kaia a story and showed her where all the puzzle pieces fit in the book.
now, valdemar is in bed. has been since about 8 or so. kaia on the other hand is up. this is her party time. lots of smiles and laughs. big belly laughs with a few giggles in between. she loves to do this really high pitched squeal because she knows it makes me laugh. what a beautiful baby girl we have.

ReplyDeleteWe have baby party time in our house too! Ellen loves to entertain us after Amabel falls asleep. But Ellen is going to sleep earlier now that she is a bit older (and although I love party time, I'm appreciating the quiet evenings!). Your photos are lovely, Colleen. You have beautiful children.
